Jakarta, October 29, 2026 – PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (“the Company” or “GoTo Group”, IDX: GOTO), the parent company of Gojek and GoPay, today reported a third consecutive quarter of net profit1, achieved amid a challenging period.
During the quarter, net profit reached Rp441 billion, compared with a net loss of Rp255 billion a year earlier, while Core GTV5 increased by 89% YoY to Rp194 trillion, and net revenue increased by 17% YoY to Rp5.6 trillion.
Hans Patuwo, GoTo Group CEO, said: “In the third quarter of 2026, we delivered another quarter of net profit, our third in a row. We are also raising our adjusted EBITDA guidance for 2026 to Rp3.5-3.7 trillion. These results came during a challenging few months. It was the first full quarter since the 8% commission cap was applied to GoRide, and the impact has been significant.”
“The Company remains focused on operational discipline and capital allocation. We have undertaken two initiatives to return further value to shareholders. First, we will cancel 32 billion treasury shares, as recently approved at our EGMS. This will reduce the number of shares outstanding by 2.7% and increase the ownership percentage of existing shareholders. Second, we continue to buy back our shares, as we see significant value in our stock.”
“We will continue to keep our business fundamentals healthy. A healthy business allows us to keep growing and to support everyone in our ecosystem, including millions of driver-partners. We continue to expand our Partner Appreciation Program, so that more driver-partners and their families can benefit, from BPJS health and employment cover to scholarships and fully funded Umrah pilgrimages.”

- ODS guidance range widened to Rp1.4-1.6 trillion, from Rp1.4-1.5 trillion previously, allowing for future regulations, including implementing regulations for delivery services from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.
- This reflects the continued outperformance of Fintech and early signs of growth in On-demand Services.
- At GoTo’s Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on October 14, 2026, shareholders approved the cancellation of 32 billion treasury shares, representing approximately 2.7% of shares outstanding. The shares will be formally cancelled within the next 2-3 months after completion of the required regulatory process, increasing ownership percentage for every shareholder.
- Additionally, since the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s removal of the Rp50 floor price on September 28, 2026, GoTo has bought back almost 3% of the Company’s total stock, deploying Rp985 billion to purchase 36 billion shares as of Oct 29, 2026. Rp2.5 trillion remains available under its current buyback authorisation, which runs through to June 2027.
On-demand Services (Gojek)
- Completed orders11 grew 9% YoY, driven by the Company’s strategy to increase its reach in the mass market, while GTV2,7 grew slower, by 1% YoY to Rp16.9 trillion. This is due to the lower order values of mass market products, combined with changes to GoRide pricing following the implementation of the 8% commission cap.
- Adjusted EBITDA4 rose 3% YoY to Rp347 billion, even after absorbing the first full quarter of the new commission rate on GoRide, on net revenue of Rp3.3 trillion.
- In Mobility, completed orders grew 10% YoY on higher frequency as mass market initiatives started scaling up, while adjusted EBITDA was Rp159 billion, down 16% YoY, with margin at 2.5%, down 50 basis points. The decline was due to the 8% commission cap.
- The impact of the 8% commission cap on GoRide stood at approximately Rp150 billion for the quarter, which is in line with the Rp300 billion full-year guidance given in July. Performance in GoRide, which turned adjusted EBITDA negative in July, has improved and is trending towards break-even.
- In Delivery, completed orders grew 7% YoY while adjusted EBITDA rose 20% YoY to Rp227 billion, and margin expanded 33 basis points to 2.1%, as mass market scaling brought more frequent, smaller orders.
- The Presidential Regulation on the protection of the digital platform-based transport ecosystem, which was made available in October, formalises the 8% commission cap on two-wheel transport and classifies driver-partners as micro-entrepreneurs. For delivery services, the Company awaits implementing regulations from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.
Fintech (GoPay)
- Monthly Transacting Users (MTUs)8 reached 30.4 million, up 26% YoY, while transactions grew faster at 86% YoY to 2.8 billion, indicating deepening engagement. Core GTV rose 96% YoY to Rp187 trillion.
- Adjusted EBITDA reached Rp550 billion, up 304% YoY, as net revenue grew 49% YoY to Rp2.3 trillion, and the business continued to benefit from operating leverage.
- Deepening customer engagement also drove lending growth, with loans outstanding principal6 up 51% YoY to Rp12 trillion.
- As indicated last quarter, the Company pre-emptively tightened credit for its highest-risk cohorts in the second quarter, which limited the deterioration in credit quality in the third quarter. The Company remains focused on lending carefully and responsibly to users within its ecosystem, while the short tenor of its loans allows underwriting to be adjusted quickly as conditions change.

Non-IFAS Financial Measures
GoTo Group uses a number of non-Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (IFAS) financial measures including adjusted EBITDA and adjusted free cash flow, to understand and evaluate GoTo Group’s core operating performance. However, the definitions of GoTo Group’s non-IFAS financial measures may be different from those used by other companies, and therefore, may not be comparable. Rather, GoTo Group believes that the presentation of adjusted EBITDA and adjusted free cash flow provide additional information to investors to facilitate the comparison of past and present results, excluding those items that GoTo Group does not believe are indicative of GoTo Group’s ongoing operations due to their size and/or nature. Adjusted EBITDA and adjusted free cash flow presented herein may not be comparable to similarly entitled measures presented by other companies, who may use and define this measure differently. Accordingly, these non-IFAS measures should not be compared to those presented by other companies.
