Jakarta, 11 August 2022 - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (“GoTo”), Indonesia’s largest digital ecosystem, has further strengthened synergies across its platforms with the launch of GoFood, its online food delivery service, on Tokopedia - a technology company with the leading marketplace in Indonesia. With the integration of GoFood, Tokopedia customers will be able to order from their favorite food and beverage merchants seamlessly, while GoFood merchants will also gain access to Tokopedia’s growing customer base, providing them with more diverse earning opportunities and additional advertising potential.

According to research conducted by Tenggara Strategics, *GoFood ranks top of mind among consumers in online food delivery, and is also their preferred platform, with the highest gross merchandise value in the industry in Indonesia. Last year, research conducted by Lembaga Demografi Faculty of Economics and Business at the Universitas Indonesia (LD FEB UI)*, also found that GoFood merchants experienced a 66% jump in revenue in 2021, compared to the previous year.
GoFood on Tokopedia is currently available to users in the Jabodetabek Greater Jakarta area and will be subsequently rolled out to more customers across Indonesia in the near future. Users can access GoFood on Tokopedia via iOS and Android in app versions 2.188 and 3.182 onwards, respectively. Tokopedia customers ordering on GoFood can pay with GoPay.

As part of the launch, Tokopedia will be implementing daily discounts of up to Rp120,000 for orders on GoFood on Tokopedia from 1 - 31 August 2022 as well as special discounts in conjunction with Tokopedia’s 13th anniversary for up to Rp130,000 at all GoFood restaurants on Tokopedia from 17 - 19 August 2022.
