GoTo’s support in facilitating easier and greater access to PeduliLindungi is in line with the Government’s efforts to gradually open up public facilities such as malls, restaurants, offices, schools, places of worship and hotels, and encourage economic activity. The PeduliLindungi app is fully managed by the Ministry of Health in Indonesia.

“Leveraging technology to strengthen contact tracing efforts speeds up the fight against COVID-19, which GoTo has supported by integrating PeduliLindungi in its digital ecosystem. I appreciate GoTo’s proactive move and hope to see more digital platforms following GoTo’s footsteps in supporting our efforts to control the spread of COVID-19”, said Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Health for Indonesia. “Users can also be reassured that data verification and processes will continue to be conducted and managed by the Ministry of Health.”

With over 100 million monthly active users, more than 11 million micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and two million driver-partners in the GoTo ecosystem, GoTo’s collaboration with the Ministry of Health is significant, and will allow millions of Indonesians to easily access PeduliLindungi.

GoTo’s Chief of Public Policy and Government Relations, Shinto Nugroho, said, “GoTo’s vast network of partners and users in Indonesia puts us in a unique position to support the nation’s fight against COVID-19. The integration of PeduliLindungi in the Gojek and Tokopedia apps underscores our commitment to use technology to make everyday life easier for all. We are also looking to integrate the feature within the GoPartner app for our driver-partners.”
